Should I put HX40 and 7.5mm for everyday use? - deviance - 07-09-2015 Hey guys! My engine is now om606 7mm and KKK K27 It spool about 3500-4000 with only 1.3 bar (no smoke after that). Should i put HX40 and 7.5mm for everyday use or that's too big for it? 4000+ spool? Thank You! RE: Should I put HX40 and 7.5mm for everyday use? - TurboTim - 07-09-2015 Powerband will be 4500 and up. The power will be good but it is a compromise of losing low end. I have a 300SDL and pull a trailer a lot and I am having to rev the hell out of it to get any usable power going up hills or I am just rolling coal. RE: Should I put HX40 and 7.5mm for everyday use? - deviance - 07-10-2015 maybe hard to overtake cars? RE: Should I put HX40 and 7.5mm for everyday use? - erx - 07-10-2015 I have om606 with 7,5mm diselmeken pump and hx40 with 16 housing. For everyday use it's not perfect but it's driveable. I have 1 bar boost at 3000rpm and 3bar at 4000rpm, it comes alive from 3500rpm. For everyday use I recommend smaller turbo because you really have to let rpm up to make it pull.
