Which Turbo for OM603 with 7.5mm - DaimlerDK - 07-13-2015
Hello,
I have built a MB 190 with OM603LA with 148HP. So, now I've a 7.5mm STP from Dieselmeken.
Which Turbo does i need, so i have power on less RPM.
My Idea was an original Turbo from a E320CDI W210.
Does anyobe built a watercooled intercooler in his car?

u can use the 320 CDI, i have one in my 605, works great. maybe a litle small for a 603. anyhow u must find a way of relieve the EGP at high rpm.

Maybe for 180HP, but it will choke on higher revs. External WG as Barotte says, or larger turbo. HE221W would do nicely for daily driver with decent bottom end and spool-up.

180 haha , my gt23V and with a very damaged compressor blow more than 250HP on my 605

I have a HX40/35 Hybrid. It has a billet wheel and a 16cm hotside so it spools very well.

Haha haha OM605 is quite different engine my friend.. it won´t do 250HP on shitty OM603 without extrernal WG, and event then that turbo will cry in pain. I like my power reliable, one 250HP run on dyno means nothing to me.
