Om606 in a s124 with a 210coolant reservoir. - -Mackan- - 10-21-2015 Hi guys! I'm planing on using the coolant tank from a w210 wich has an overflow hose. That one is normally connected to either the radiator or the top radiator housing I'm I right? Well my 606.962 engine does not have that connection on the top radiator connection housing and neither has my radiator. I have seen some images of 606 engines with the connection on the top radiator hose housing, can I just drill and put a 90degre bend on the housing and attach the hose and I'll be fine? Or should I connect it to the temp sensor adapter on the top radiator hose? In the picture below there is a connection beside the top radiator connection. RE: Om606 in a s124 with a 210coolant reservoir. - -Mackan- - 10-21-2015 My solution Will be a 500E radiator. RE: Om606 in a s124 with a 210coolant reservoir. - Hario' - 10-22-2015 It's to let out steam bubbles so do top hose fitting or drill out the housing like you say, both will work fine, the latter for a more OEM look. I intend to do this also. RE: Om606 in a s124 with a 210coolant reservoir. - zeeman - 10-25-2015 (10-21-2015, 03:54 AM)-Mackan- Hi guys! |
