yea it is home made all you need is an electric motor and an old turbo! but they will never make as much boost as an exhaust driven turbo!

Double fail!
Not only is that motor about 30hp and 100,000rpm short of being anything more than an intake restriction, but the compressor wheel is trashed (notice the dull blades and the clearance to the housing)!
