Hey guys,
Just putting a feeler out there -- considering offering someone a trade that would net me a well-running but rusty 1987 300TD whose drivetrain I could swap into the 'SD, so I'm trying to figure out what it would cost for me to get the W126-specific parts. I think I would at least need the engine mount arms (any W126 with the OM603 or M103 will do), front driveshaft section or complete driveshaft (350SD/300SE), transmission crossmember (will take anything, I can always mod it), and exhaust header (300SDL/350SD).
Did I leave anything else off the list?. LMK.

Looks like the deal is going to go down, so I'm gathering parts. I have engine mount arms and the tranny crossmember coming, but I still need the header pipe and driveshaft parts.

I think I've got a compete drive shaft assembly from my 81 300SD if that is what you're looking for?

Only looking for a short-wheelbase M103/OM603 (so 300SE/350SD) driveshaft now...
