WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - polarisrmk - 03-23-2016 I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD RUNNING OM603 3.0L. I HAVE A 1995 E320 T THAT I COVERTED TO DIESEL AND MY DONOR ENGINE HAS LOW COMPRESSION ON 2 CYLINDERS IT ALSO HAS A #14 HEAD. I HAVE BEEN RUNNIN IT FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS NOW BUT ITS GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO START AND DOWN ON POWER. THOUGHT ABOUT GOING TO A 606 THAT I HAVE LAYING AROUND BUT NOT SURE I WANT TO TACKLE ANOTHER BIG PROJECT AND BE OUT A DAILY DRIVER FOR 6 MONTHS. RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - 97e300 - 03-24-2016 WHY ARE WE YELLING? RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - hooblah - 03-24-2016 Lol. Just chuck the 606 in. It's not too much work seeing as you already have a 603. I reckon it's doable over a weekend. RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - MFSuper90 - 03-24-2016 I would gladly sell you my 603, but if it were me, I'd definitely throw the 606 instead of the 603 RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - polarisrmk - 03-24-2016 (03-24-2016, 05:53 AM)hooblah Lol. Just chuck the 606 in. It's not too much work seeing as you already have a 603. I reckon it's doable over a weekend. Haven't done much research on it but the car it's in has das and asr... I am assuming there are ways around this RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - hooblah - 03-24-2016 What's das? AFAIK ASR works off wheel speed sensors so it shouldn't be a problem, you're only changing the engine. RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - 97e300 - 03-24-2016 Ill take that 606 off your hands if you're keen on the 603 RE: WTB: GOOD RUNNING om603 - MFSuper90 - 03-25-2016 I'll trade you my 603 for your 606 |
