Om603 exhaust - Whatever - 05-11-2016 Hey I have a w124 300D and I was wondering if taking of the stock muffler would make any difference to the sound. Also is the whole exhaust stainless steel? I actually made my 300SDL exhaust work on my 76 300TD swap when I put full 3 inch on my 300SDL. If you take the muffler off they sound okay but its all opinion of what actually sounds good so just chop it off and see what ya think. Have a good day!
