Om617a IP air lock? - Evenglass - 08-25-2016 Installed M-pump from my old engine to my new one. I cannot get fuel from first 2 delivery valves. The last 3 lines have fuel. I've pumped on the hand primer alot. I do not have fuel coming to the filter housingfrom the banjo bolt on the block side of the injection pump (fuel return I believe?). There is a 14mm bolt with a spring underneath it that connects to that banjo bolt, is this for bleeding purpopurposes? I believe it to be air locked. What is the proper bleed procedure for this pump? Thanks for any help. RE: Om617a IP air lock? - starynovy - 08-25-2016 Procedure is to prime the pump with fuel and then with cracked HP lines one person cranks the engine while other tightens HP lines that will start to spill diesel fuel. Chances are you connected something wrong. Isnt the plunger lift pump connected other way around? |
