My 1978 OM616 Powered Series III Land Rover - jankjerbye - 10-06-2009 Heres a quick shot of the rugged work horse i use at my small farm. Its an 1978 Land Rover with a OM616 in it.. Some Bosch conversions for the electric system and a stock Suffix C gearbox. An almost indestructible combo.. The Land Rover chassis and the Mercedes Saug Diesel engine.. Presuming you're in the UK? We have a lot of nissan LD28 powered landrovers over here, the mercedes aren't as common but the architecture is pretty close.
