Swap an 320cdi trans intro into 300td 98 - street_666 - 03-02-2017
Its an 320 cdi (from 2002 up) gear box compatible with an older w210.
I saw on forum that erx changed bel housing from 05' to older one but with Oles controller and it fits, but what with electronics and valve body.
I want to stay as much a possible with original electronics.
I want to change the gear box because its start to slip on 3 and 4 with8mm elements on standard ecu.
Or is other options to bolt on?

Do you use stock ecu on your car? If stock ecu then it will go limp mode and will not work because stronger 320cdi box has different gear ratios. With ole controller it doesn't matter.

Now i wait for new ecu from seanyt to disable those disadvantages.
Round plug has the same polarity/quantity/function like older 722.6?

I think gear ratio problem is related to box controller unit and ABS, disabling ecu immo doesn't help. I'm not sure if box controller is programmable to work with different gear ratios.
As far as I know all 722.6 boxes have the same main housing and wire plug, only difference is bellhousing. W211 boxes are without mechanical parking unlock cable but it's not needed anyway.

Round plug is the same. You need to change the bellhousing.
