Increasing idle on om605 - addi.bigg - 01-07-2018 Dudes! I have an OM662 pump on my OM605 and I would like to increase the idle a bit because it is about 600-650rpm. I've found a manual for this pump, but one thing is not really clear for me. The attached stuff mentions a marking on the governor and not to rotate more then 1/2 turn from the marking. I can't find this one, where should that be? Also I don't have the vacuum unit connected to the vacuum system. What kind of sensor/switch should be between the IP and the vacuum pump that turns off when the coolant is hot enough? Thanks! When under vac it increases idle by 100 or so RPM. It is used for cold start. It is regulated by a vac thermostat valve in the head assy. Good luck RE: Increasing idle on om605 - addi.bigg - 01-08-2018 (01-08-2018, 12:24 AM)barrote Just rotate the capsule out to your targuet wishes. Thanks! |
