Wtb t3 50/55/60 trim or comparable - Freakshow - 02-06-2018

looking to replace the t3 45 on my 617 due to shaft play. Not looking for a crazy big turbo, no immediate plans for a super pump, but I'm running 14lbs now and the current turbo is just making hot air.

That said, I'm most likely looking for a used t3 50/55 because I'm hoping someone has a pull off from a 603 laying around. I'd be willing to consider other similarly sized turboes. I'm not afraid to spend money, but price is a consideration. Lmk what you've got.

I have a 55 trim from a 91 sdl and a 92? Difference is studs and the 92 does not come with wastegate actuator.

What would you need to get for the one with the wg actuator?  How's the shaft play? Should be .48 a/r?

Studs on that one should match up to a 1980 w116 egr exh manifold?

Yes, .48 trim

You would need to find / make a mount and get an ebay actuator for the newer one. The housing does not have any bolts but accepts 10mm studs from the manifold

The 91 has 8mm studs built in.

I'm not sure what size your w116 accepts but most likely it's  the 8mm.

Shaft play is fine on both, never had an issue with them but only used the 91 model for 10k miles or so before I upgraded again. I had a KKK originally (I have that too but probably not worth the effort)

I want to say I do need the eight mm but I'll double check tonight. How much Money do you want for each?
