Oil Filters OM vs M micron size - JoeB - 09-25-2020 Does anyone know what the OM606 filter media pass-through particle size is? 10 micron? 60? 5? and if you do happen to know, I wonder if it is the same, better or worse as the M104 petrol engines. Mahle/knecht/mann/hengst brands for reference if you happen to be in the know. RE: Oil Filters OM vs M micron size - vica153 - 10-08-2020 Would be good info to have. Though if you're interested in better oil filtration, then you should add on an aftermarket bypass oil filter system. Amsoil makes a nice universal kit. 98.7% efficient at 2 microns. |
