Om606 rattle in high rpm - Wee210 - 04-13-2022
Hey guys,
I’ve built this this superturbo W210 recently and found out there’s this weird rattle when accelerating with full throttle and full boost. Specs: Hx35 with 12 housing to stock manifold, 2 bars of boost, bigger intercooler, 722.6 trans with homade controller and 7mm Mynä pump pushing 140cc.
The problem exists even with 1.4 bars of boost but not when revved in neutral. Intake cam is in marks and the injection pump has been timed correctly.
Wastegate fluttering? Valve float? Fueling issue?
I have om606 stock lift pump fitted to 7mm Mynä, could the lift pump be incompatible with the one in 603 pump and cavitate? Using 2bars of boost the exhaust pressure is approx. 2.6 bars. I think it’s not too much and the problem exists with lower boost too.
Anyone had this kind of rattle? Video coming asap when I know how to send url here
