722.6 problems - ho55 - 05-02-2025
I may have made a nasty mistake.
In fitting my 722.6, the TC was correctly insterted into the box, but when connecting the flex-plate, there was quite a gap, maybe 5-6mm.
Now stupidly i had never heard of adding spacer, have never seen this. So i just bolted it up pulling the TC forwards.
It all worked ok to start with, added oil, had drive, until a nasty bang, and now i only have weak drive. i.e. the car tries to move.
What have i done? Can i reingage it and add spacers, or have i killed something?
