Finally got this damn thing going yesterday. Not road legal or anything yet but what the hell, went for a spin.
Clutch handles really well for a sinter puck job, you wouldn't know it was one. Throttle was only able to move about halfway, but rolls lots of coal off boost. A wee bit more turbo lag than I'd thought but when it lights it really goes. Blew the intake piping so need to sort that. Also kept blowing the hose off my exhaust mani copper line (which is a nice dull colour now). Think I need a lot more coils to get it cooler before it meets the rubber hose.
Was doing 0-100 runs but the gearbox synchros just can't take the quick shifts...don't know whether to get another gearbox before I get the new propshaft made (or break the box...).
I was gonna make a new throttle linkage but I think I could get away without, as long as I can still get the full range of travel to the pump arm somehow. Needs a damper of some sort though (fuel rack one I guess).

Plenty to do as usual...
