So I've been searching here and other forums for the last couple days. I just completed a project adding a turbo to a low mileage 84 190d with the 2.2 OM601. It was sourced from a mitsubishi mighty max 2.3 turbo diesel so the sizing so be appropriate for a slight power gain. I'm not new to diesels, just the Mercedes IP. With the turbo and a custom free flowing intake, I can't get my egts above 400* on flat ground here at 5000ft elevation in fort Collins, CO and my probe is mounted pre turbo. I think it's time for some more fuel. I read the sticky above however it seems focused on the turbo IP and mine looks a little different. Any tips on turning her up a bit? Any worthwhile external adjustments like the turbos ALDA or my cummins VE pump? Also opinions on safe pressure to wastegate the turbo? I was thinking 6psi or so. TIA guys!

There are no external adjustments for yours. Follow the guide for the M-Pump.

Thanks for the reply, I'll see what I can do. Does the full fuel screw increase idle and result in runaway if turned to far up? Like on the VE on my cummins?

Yes to both questions!

The guide on the 'M' pump gives recommended adjustments....

Personally, from std. I would try 1.5 turns initially and see how you go...

Yep. The coarse idle screw must be adjusted equally with the full load screw to maintain the stock speed.
