Is anyone familier with the vacuum line coming off the turbo? It's 1983, and I have 4 lines going into the block for the 3/2valves, but only 3 from the valves?? One goes to a dead nipple... I just picked this car up so I trying to ensure all vacuum lines are correct. The way it sits now the vacuum line from the turbo would go to an open nipple. Also, what is that vacuum line for? I am thinking possibly the wastgate to prevent overboost?? Thanks, Wille

Everything vacuum on the valve cover should be removed. Its for the EGR only and has zero benefit to investing any time or money into it.

What he said, as long as your state doesnt look under the hood for emissions I would do this. Block off the EGR vac line as well.
