They are maximum downshift points. The maximum upshift is a few hundred rpm higher.

(08-22-2010, 08:38 PM)ORION_theArcher Not rpm, speed.

Which is, directly tied to RPM.

Quote:At 140 mph u are not going to be doing much down shifting.
140kph = 86mph

Ah! Just realized. Damn, so next question is where can I find these with mph. Kim isn't gonna take the time to learnkph. I wonder if not having mph might get me out of a ticket or two...hmmmmmm.

Just ran across this thread... looks like these come in MPH form now so no need to convert from KPH. Man I want a 126 just so I can have these lol...

'87 300D Turbo "Roxanne" - #22 head - 400E brakes - EGR Delete - 17" Staggered AMG 5 spoke rims from CLK500 - 5 Spd manual
2007 Chevy 2500HD CCSB Duramax with about 400-500 rwhp depending on the tune I use Big Grin
1983 300D Silver Exterior/Black inside - Sold and will be missed, may we never meet in a PnP.

Wow. I've definitely gotta get me one o' those AMG cars. If it can do 55 km/h at 500 rpm on zero oil pressure, just imagine what will happen when the pedal is pushed!!! Tongue

Gone but not forgotten: two W123 sedans and two W124 wagons.
W124 1987 300TD wagon, for sale, $1000 (some assembly required).
