I didn't think the NA OM606 had these nozzles to cool the pistons...
Cheers,
Matt

All om605/6 N/A engines is been oil nozzles what we are look in here.
I have look several 605 engine and even year 93 there waas those.

(10-06-2010, 03:12 PM)HoleshotHolsetYes, pistons, rods, cam. Valves are same size, but there may be differens on valve stem. Crank is same. I have my own engine om602 N/A crank.(10-06-2010, 03:05 PM)jeemu All om605/6 N/A engines is been oil nozzles what we are look in here.

Good to know.
So it seems like the main differences between the NA and turbo OM606 is the pistons and the rods. Heads/valves must be different too...
How about the crank?
Cheers,
Matt

Excellent pictures, jeemu.
Here are some pictures of a 1.25L OM606.
I will be using this to take precise measurements in order to make a CAD file and then machine an adapter plate so I can run a GM 4L80E automatic behind my OM606. It weighs just over 100lbs - so shipping costs are greatly reduced.
Beers,
Matt

I'll be here patiently waiting
I'll have a CMM'd plot of the 61X pattern out for the masses once I'm sure it's good.
could someone please censor the photos of the broken crank....
.... its really very disturbing knowing it was done intentionally.

I used a Brown&Sharpe CMM, can't remember the exact model it is.
I took everything off the intermediate plate, not the block, so there might be a few tenths to a thou error in where the crank is, that's why I'm waiting until I make my adapter to release anything, don't want anybody making a $400 wall placard because my data was bad...
I'm using Inventor 2K11, and pcdmis spits out dxf for it's data, so it's all good.
Yeah Inventor! That's what I learned on... very similar to Solid Works..
If you have a .edu email, hit up students.autodesk.com and get a free 3 year license of Inventor pro suite, just has the plot tramp stamp for educational if you plot it on a proper plotter.
I wish I did...
hmmm... bug one of your college friends, I think you get a 2 seat license with it and nobody ever uses the second seat...
I don't have one of those either haha
And I'm the freak that uses both seats of his license, or I'd throw one your way...
Awe well thanks anyway!
