no black smoke alda screw all the way out
Before I start I have searched and have been looking over this forums for a few weeks now. My car is a 1981 300sd. I have done banjo bolt clean out, new fuel filters etc etc. I tried adjusting the alda screw all the way out no black smoke at all. I understand over fuel is not really the best but I dont want to be under fueled either thoughts?
No black smoke is a good thing. If your 0-60 is 15 seconds or less there is nothing to adjust.
just did a 0-60 looking at about 19-20 seconds my car is totally stock minus alda screw all the way out all fluids, filters, valve adjustments and such done by a diesel professor. I know everything is to spec no real blow by either. i do here what sounds like a vacuum leak behind my climate control in the car. Could that cause the problem?
