Oil Question
Oil Question
Now, I dont wanna start a fight here, haha. Just wanna ask something.
In regards to oils for winter.
I'm partially fond of Rotella T and I found some @ Wall World.
There is 10W-30, 5W-30 Synthetic, and SAE 30.
I would like to know which one would be good use in winter.
I dont really wanna use the 5W cuz its syn and switching dino to syn isnt the best, plus its more $$.
So I guess my question is; is 10W-30 or SAE 30 even useable here in WI for winter?
Thanks guys.

(10-24-2010, 09:22 PM)Duckinator17 What I had meant was I had heard that switching back and forth from dino to syn. ever fall/winter, winter/spring wasn't the best for the engine. That doesn't make much difference. With synthetic you only need to change the oil once a year unless you drive extreme mileage.
Quote:Can I run 5W-40 year round?Yes.

(10-24-2010, 09:52 PM)Duckinator17 I guess I'll be switching out to the blue jug for winter and beyond.
