You would need an adapter plate,pilot bearing,clutch,and flywheel plus machine work to make it all interact without fighting.IIRC, the input shaft on a TKO600 has 26 or 27 splines,so it's kind of a unique set up.

What do you think would be the easiest and most cost effective manual transmission swap to an om603 that could handle 450hp max?

You can up grade T5 or TKO to handle that kind of torque.

Here is some history on the T5 and what they came in.Scroll down and there's a list with specs.You'll need the highest torque rating you can find,but it still won't be enough for 400+hp without building the transmission.Diesels put out way more torque than a g@$$er.
