Hey guys as a Christmas gift to myself I think I'm going to pick up a set of aftermarket wheels for my 84 300d I'm planning on lowering the car a good bit and would like to put a set of 15 or 16" wheels with a staggered lip, can any of you suggest what size offset I need and anything else I may need to know before I try and order a set... I like the bbs style mesh wheels or the like I'm thinking black as the car is dark blue and I like the blacked out look.... I searched but most of what I came up with was putting OEM wheels on, which doesn't look that bad just wanna be different. By the way this site is great, I'm a diesel guy and seeing people who appreciate these cars so much is awesome!

Yeah those are the style I was looking for! Those look great, I'm trying to figure out what offset I need, I see lots of wheels on eBay that are the right lug pattern but I don't want to buy a set and have them rubbing or hitting, I have even thought about running a 17 or 18 if the price is right.. I just know I don't want chrome lol
