Waiting on some money in january. For sure cutting off the mufflers. But should I replace injection nozzles or try for a water injection system?
I shot some wiper fluid through the turbo before at high speed and boost and it felt good. Smoother and more powerful.
So the vote for that is that I can already sense the improvement.
But, it seems like from what I read the injector nozzles are more certain to bring improvement.
Nothing says I can't do both just what's your opinions on the two mods.
A fresh set of injection nozzles is a good idea, especially if yours is up there in milage, and don't know when they were done last. Did nozzles in mine, and my brothers car; smoothed mine out a bit, world of difference in his.
Can't say no to a water/meth injection system either...
I'd start with the injector nozzles
If your going to do water injection make sure to inject after the turbo the water can damage the impeller blade on the turbo! also use a high pressure pump 100psi + so get a better mist! any dribbles can actually do damage!
Ok then, injectors it is. That one might be a bit easier too. My old lady said she doesn't like how the car shakes/rocks when we are stopped.

^ When I posted that I was shooting wiper fluid through the turbo intake. Forced flipped shit and said it could snap the shaft of the turbo. Can imagine that diesel is a lot more dense than wiper fluid.
That's one way to get it in the cylinders I guess

Forced is a pansy! Nothing snapped off my turbo! Haha j/k. you right the water sinks. I had the hose right at the inlet of the turbo with no air filter haha and the water/diesel would drip out of it even when I wasn't hitting the horn (such activated the washer fluid pump). Man that was bad! It would just suck the fuel into the turbo when I wasn't accelerating and that was kinda scary before I knew what was happening haha

The liquids should be dumped after the turbo right before the actual intake manifold. Definitely not made for auto/diesel turbos.
