11-24-2010, 04:05 PM #1I live in Kirkland but I am quite willing to drive a ways. I need to borrow a spring compressor so I can change my front spring pads. Will buy you any non alcoholic 6 pack.... (only 16 yrs old)...

i'm confused what other style you can use on a spring thats fixed in position IN the car... the only two i knew of were the kit with two or three threaded rods with the threaded hooks on each end, and a wall mounted strut spring compressor
There's no replacement for displacement... except for the TURBO IN MY BASEMENT!

Yeah your car is a fine compressor. Put jack on lower ccontrol arm remove everything attached to lower control arm and let it down onto a jackstand while standing to the side and it will come right out.

I spent the afternoon replacing the bulging bypass hose between my water pump and thermostat before it strands me. The POS autozone radiator hoses weren't even close to fitting.
