Any reason why a professionally rebuilt T3 should whine like a siren?
Any reason why a professionally rebuilt T3 should whine like a siren?
I finally got everything back together, and I'm afraid to really drive it since the turbo is whining pretty loudly. I replaced the oil supply line and cranked with the injector lines off it to get oil moving before starting it. I let it warm up at idle for 10 min, but then as soon as I revved it I heard some serious whine.
Anyone ever heard of a turbo whining initially until broken in?
