1985 300sd is in the rebuild process now, upgraded pump to 8mm elements(if i can ever get parts), hx35 turbo off of a cummins 5.9
I have a 1983 300d with a 617 and i need 2 pistons! I cant find any anywhere used or new! The new ones are all on backorder. Does anyone on here know of anyone with some good parts that they would sell? Please let me know if you have any ideas!!!

i JUST TALKED TO HIM. HE HAS NEW ONES FOR $380 EACH! I passed on them. I am really holding out in hopes of finding someone with a blown engine they are willing to part out to me. Anybody got a bad 3.0L diesel with 2 good pistons?

Thanks, I went to car-parts.com and called everyone with core motors for sale until I found one willing to part out the core. I think I found one!

80 300sd hy35, front mount intercooler, w115 intake, rack limiter removed, Alda removed, full load turned up, boost, ebp, trans, pyro, egr delete, 3.5" exhaust, e-fan, 16x8 rims with, 245/50 tires, lowered, bilstien 5100's, 12" front brakes, 2.65:1 diff.

i may take you up on that if this deal doesn't pan out. i got a pretty good price of $50 for both with the rods. i do appreciate it though.
