Got a question for you all, has anyone tried to fit a W107 front Valance/Spoiler and the Trunk hatch spoiler on a W123 It looks like it would fit but I dont want to buy it if someone has tried and they definatly could not get it to work. I think it would look really good on a Coupe.Cool

What do you all think?Huh

Give it a shot, there cant be too much modifying reqd. I may even try it if I can find a 107 at a pull apart.

Its too wide. I think if you had a hand at fiberglass it wouldnt be to hard to modify to fit. I drove 40 miles once to find that out on a lark.

So you tried a 107 front air dam on a 123 body and it was only too wide everything else macthed up?

Fiberglass is easy I work on boats for a livingSmile

Yes and it was only maybe 2-4 cm wider. I cant swear it was a perfect fit but if you know fiberglass.... It was certainly close.

What about the rear one? Too wide? I guess I shouldn't really complain though cause if it doesn't work I could just throw it on my dads 560SL...

I grabbed a rear spoiler off of a r107 a few years back to put on the 240D but it was to narrow by IIRC 1.5in on each side.

Ok I have been to the Pick and pulls now a few times and have yet to find a nice front and rear spoilers. I am looking for any color cause the car is going to be painted. It needs to be off the R107 body and I believe they started putting them on after 1987 not positive on that though. Can anyone help me find these in decent shape. I will pay if its reasonable. I just dont want to spend the $400 for new ones The Pick and Pull said they would only charge 25-50 for each so thats what I am looking for. Please help me with this. I will also pay for the shipping and removal of course. But it will have to be after the new year like mid January. Already spent enough this year wife will kill me if I ask for money nowSad

Thanks for any help
Joe
