So, what's the least expensive way to do it?

greyhound looks pretty cheap but I think you have to meet the bus at pick-up and drop off.
UPS did 70# for $65 from WI to NY.
USPS flat rate is $15.50 for up to 70# if it fits in the large box.
That is awesome. Just 15.50. I ordered 25 free boxes
oh and it's only $14.95

just scraped my trunk lid, hood, 2 doors, and a file cabinet @$220/ton. Only got $30. I have talked to some guy at freightquote.com he says they will do best at stuff that's big and heavy. I think that flat rate usps will be best, though as mike said the boxes are pretty small

deliveryvalve shipped me a PAIR of fenders in one large box through greyhound once. I had to go down and get them from the bus depot, im not sure if he just dropped it off or had to actually load the item on the bus. Im pretty sure you can just drop it at the depot
