Aren't some w123 wagons SLS and some normal spring suspension?
Also, isin't SLS generally considered dumb as compared to springs?
I saw a wagon on CL and one on ebay that I'm sure will be way too expensive.

And there is a 'simple' procedure to put springs in? I still have all the ones from my w123 sedan. And is that correct that people don't like SLS for certain reasons, like it breaks, etc.

Mostly because they're too cheap to fix it if it has issues.

Replace the spheres, replace the orings in the valves, re-seal the cylinders, and you're good. It's expensive, but it's how I'd do it, and my income is negative right now...

After reading those I think most people would preserve the SLS. I had thought for sure SLS delete was an agreed upon improvement but I guess it's not.

In a wagon it's awesome. We regularly pile 7 people into my friends and we lol after he starts it and it "rises to the occasion".
