Shut down again guys. minimum order is 50 so not going to happen. I took the advice of an old teacher from my days in the automotive deptarment at ivy tech and call a place called oden machine. He said that they have made custom barrels and plungers before and he would have an answer for me. I called and was amazed at what he told me! He said he knows he could do 10 or 11mm plungers but that he thought a better route to go would be to use an A-pump off of a mercedes combine! He would probably have to regrind the cam for a 5 cylinder but thought the mounting was the same! He wants me to send my pump to him to be sure. I will definitely keep you all posted on this. Oh and by the way, he did say that if I went with the MW pump and 10mm plungers he could do it for around $700-800. Not to bad guys.........

1985 300sd is in the rebuild process now, upgraded pump to 8mm elements(if i can ever get parts), hx35 turbo off of a cummins 5.9

any new news in the last couple days? i would but at least a couple FOR SURE, if they are found in the under $30 mark.

what kind of power are 8mm's good for with supporting mods? i know there is always a bunch of variables but what kind of range? what size would i need for say, 350wtq?

should my car have a MW pump? it has the square alda on top.

I can get 25 of 1418415043 via paypal for 12.50 each, plus shipping.
They're 10mm Renault.
It's not 8mm, but those seem to be on intergalactic backorder... Sad

Figured I'd throw that out in the open in case anyone was interested...

I'm in for a set of 6 in whatever size we can get our hands on (8mm, 10mm, etc)

Anyone still interested in these? I imagine we could just set the max stop at 1/2 travel for the 10mm plungers...

Newbie-read this: Cheap Tricks

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

I might be interested if something affordable AND reliable comes along

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!
