1964 220s sorry it's not a diesel
I just picked up my next project a 1964 220s with 4spd on the column I got it for $500 the last owner rebuilt the engine 15 years ago and moved on after he couldn't get the carburetors tuned it needs some work but its complete I even had it running after pouring some fuel through the carbs but it is 99% rust free
I had to promise my GF I would sell my 1958 219 and 1956 190
That instrument cluster is awesome!
If you think it looks cool check out this video. The speedometer changes color depending on your speed from yellow to orange and yellow stripes to red, This is not my car in the video
That is sweet! I love that cluster!
Coolest speedometer I've ever seen
Looks like we have similar projects, mine is a 1960 220seb.
I am combining it with a 1996 Mercedes S500 for a RestoMod.
Already got both subframes and the engine in place.
If you plan on going original let me know if you need parts.
Dam that's very cool you should post a build page for that!
If I ever do a Restomod I would find a om606 and another 6spd but that's beyond my current ability's and finance!
I'll be looking for a battery tray and hold down?
Agreed! Very cool project! New engine + old car = WIN!

cool If you did it up let me know other wise no big deal mine is rusty on one side but repairable
The hard to find one it the one that goes on top of the battery that holds the washer bag/bottle thing and battery down!
