In the following link, can anyone tell me what turbo will bolt on with out fabrication or modification... I got another question, Is it worth buying a T3 V-band will they fit (flange wise) will it improve in spooling or will it be the same as stock...

Avoid that seller. He only has scrap turbos and hes been keyword spamming eBay with false descriptions trying to lure people in.

There are also a million different T3's under the sun. You should do some research into what you're really interested in, then find a bunch of compressor maps and start plotting. V-band won't do anything for performance by itself, it's just a flange that allows attaching the piping in a more convenient way.

Thx for the head's up Forced

Here's a turbo that i might consider, (T3/T4 V-Band Hybrid Turbo/Turbocharger 8psi internal WG) copy and paste on Ebay (i having issues with copy and pasting address)

About the oil feeding, From the looks of it, it seem that if i install the turbo the oil feed holes will be horizontal, will this be a problem

8 psi? That turbo is for a gas engine. Look into an HX25 or HX30. You'll need at least 14psi. The stock turbo will put 14 down pretty easy.

I'm presently running an HX-30 at 15psi with no intercooler, rack limiter removed in the IP, Torque Control tweaked, and I rarely see anything over 900°F (hot day, long hill, highway speeds) in the EGTs department. This indicates to me that the turbo is quite efficient at low levels of boost (it's rated for ~27psi). I am by no means maxing out the capabilities of this turbo at the present level of "tune". According to the literature it should be capable of supplying about 250-300hp worth of air, and I doubt my engine is making much more than 150hp, if that.

There is a small amount of fabrication that needs to be done, however, because one has to put a 3/8" spacer between the turbo flange and the exhaust manifold flange. Also, the manifold will need to have a nipple welded on, and a tube communicating air from the turbocharger to the intake manifold will have to be arranged. I think there are forum members here who will do the welding for a fee. The spacer can be made with a drill press, a hack saw, and a round file (that's how I did mine), but if you know someone with a Bridgeport, milling one out would be the quickest way. You also have to remove the studs from the exhaust manifold (carefully, with a lot of penetrating oil), and install longer ones (avail. from Autozone), that will reach through the spacer, through the turbo flange, and to the nut.

EDIT: Hooking up the stock exhaust to the HX-30 was no biggie for me, and it will be obvious how its done upon closer inspection, but a custom 3" exhaust would be the ideal thing to do.

Like was said before, you should really start running numbers (google "not2fast turbo calculator") to get a more narrowly-defined picture of what you want from your engine.

Here is one set up for an OM617.

Change the RPM and boost to fit your situation.

Its a really fun too. I've tried everything from a 25cc weedeater to the 25,333L 14-cylinder Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C engine.

This one actually looks very good. It will bolt onto the exhaust manifold and should spool very nicely on a 617.

Agreed. The compressor looks great. See if you can get the seller to show you a photo of the turbine though.

Looks good, from the looks of it the oil feed line might not need to be modified
