Hello!
What kind of turbo do you suggest for om606? Pump is with 7,5mm elements by Dieselmeken in Sweden.
At the moment I have ordinary Holset HX35; used one. But I gonna sell it. Goal is at least 400hp.

I want http://www.kkdmotorsport.com/kauppa.php?...1270835105

or
http://www.kkdmotorsport.com/kauppa.php?...1270835105

with 12" turbine housing.

HX35 Super is with watercooling. Is this better?

Or

http://www.hevosvoima.com/shop/index.php...ts_id=7216

Engine is in mb sec 1986.

Especially I want Jeemu's opinion.

What is better? When HX40 super start spooling and when HX35 Super start spooling.

Machine is for everyday driving not for drifting and I can't dry the ordinary hx35 at the moment because of snow.

Than you for your answers.

Difficult to say when they will start to spool, depends on many factors, exhaust manifold/exhaust after turbo, intercooler/intake, adjustment of pump etc.
The question is what is most important for you, low rpm torque or high rpm HP? When you know the answer to that, you know which turbo to chooseSmile

low rpm. But is the 8" Pakokotelo too small?

If I want high rpm then I would install hx40 super with 16" Pakokotelo.

But what dou you think of hx40 super with 12" Pakokotelo?

I sold my ordinary holset hx35 now.

Now I read abou master power turbos too.

If I gonna buy holset then hx40 super wit 12" turbine housing.

But maybe this is ok too
http://www.hevosvoima.com/shop/index.php...ts_id=7216

Why they say that Master Power r seria turbo is better than holset. Is it true.

Which one do you suggest?

Goal is 400hp.

MPR R6164-5 if you want to play safe. It has 15 turbine housing.
My opinion on MPR or Holset 9-12 housing is not good choise.

These Master Power MPR turbos are fully new desing all the way. So my choise is Master Power

If you are considering for R545-2, you could also think of R545-4 as the 9cm² housing most likely won't support 400hp. Further t/housing options will be available during spring
If you are thinking of HX40, the comparable turbo is R6164-5, which as jeemu said, would be a safe choice if the top end power is 'the thing'.

R545-4 has inner wastegate. I don't like it.
