does the Helmholtz effect still work under boost with long intake runners or only during normally aspirated conditions?

i have a w126 with an OM617 with well working turbo and functioning alda .
looking to swap the stock turbo intake with the w115 high rise intake as MB on the C-111,
and fordcedinduction did. i am wondering when under no measurable or light boost can the Helmholtz effect still exist?

also, unable to find the info that forcedinduction had found (does anybody have those pages and associated files saved) about the c-111 i am wondering what timing, boost and water/methanol injection if any was used during any of its runs? and finally did they really have an aluminum head, if so was there an advantage to using it besides heat transfer, weight reduction and ease of porting/matching?

This?

The .pdf links still work.

Gone but not forgotten: two W123 sedans and two W124 wagons.
W124 1987 300TD wagon, for sale, $1000 (some assembly required).

I had asked this question a bit ago, and the answer is yes. Here is a website that talks more about it. although it does not mention using it with a turbo.

offcourse it still works, only the optimal rpm for a given runner lentgh may change because the speed of sound changes with the density of the air in the plenum
