so what do you guys think looks nicer?

A nice set of bbs/mesh or cool 80's style rims or the whitewalls paired with the silver hubcaps?

Im kinda leaning to get some nice radials with the white ring around them but cant decide if rims would be badass

You should do a two-tone paint job with white on top (of something darker) and get the wheels with hubcaps and THEN get white walls

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

Just look at the picture of the benz when you come on the website

(02-18-2012, 10:06 PM)Purplecomputer so what do you guys think looks nicer?

personally, I find rims way more realisitic for daily use.

Whitewalls look terrible the minute they are dirty, which is two minutes after you put them on. Big Grin

Look great on show cars that you garage all the time, but a nice set of rims are more resistant to marking, and easier to clean brake dust off of IMO

1974 240D 617 turbo swap, W201 5-speed, in the works project
1983 240D 616 stock, DD
1989 Chevy Astro, 617 turbo swap, T5 5-speed, 4.56 diff, work van
