I found a big turbo in my shed lately
Turbo model: kkk K31
Designation from name plate:
kkk no. 5331 970 7128
Customer no. 008 096 60 99
Serial no. K31-501-1
FA504895200012
Turbine housing 22cm^2
Anti Surge compressor housing
This turbo is used on Mercedes Benz Actros Truck with 12.0L engine OM501LA-E3, 456hp.
It is sized like Holset HX50 and also has a FMT compressor wheel.
So I think for use on a ~3.0L engine it would need some support like a supercharger or twin turbo setup....

For some reason it does not show my complete post, so here is the 2nd part:
It is in excellent technical condition, no ditches or dents, wheels look like new.
I took it apart and put new genuine kkk bearing kit in it, just to go sure although the "old" bearings showed no signs of wear.
Components where checked on a Schenck balancing rig and are all in spec.
Turbo spins free like it should:
I think shipping to US would be to expensive, this turbo is quite heavy, I guess around 45-50lbs (~25kg) so maybe some of the crazy north EU folks have interest in it...
Calling €650.- incl. shipping in EU

I just gave Commissioner Gordon a call, he said for these nice STD folks I have to make more attractive pricetag.
I will do so if somebody should really show interest.
