Just bought this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/320862779441?ite...m=&vxp=mtr

Ill let you guys know how well it turns out when it arrives. Looks like it is going to be hand made.

Im taking a gamble here but i could really use a cup holder in my car and i dont want some cheap plastic holders bolted into the door.

So it takes the place of that barely functional center console that gets filled up with useless junk 5 minutes after I clean it out? sounds good to me!

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

Looks like it came with the car when it left the factory. it didnt specify if the actual holders were a one size fits all deal

Im sure you could, but I am terrible with wood work so for $75 shipped I would rather save myself the hassle and pay someone else to do it.

I am pretty good with wood work, definitely gonna have to try this out. I think the cup holders would be awesome with (I think it was a w126) armrest that opened up for storing stuff

I'll try making a mock up one in the next couple weeks, if it turns out alright I'll go the specialty wood place that's sort of near my house and try matching the stock paneling

I spoke to the seller via eBay email and he gave me his email in case anyone wanted to buy one from him. He says he can do any kind of custom work to match the car and he is willing to resize the wood if it dosnt fit.
