It has been done and works, some people have gone so far as to integrate it with the intake manifold.

Robert a.k.a. Rudolf_Diesel built one. He hasn't posted here in awhile. Probably embarrassed because a purchase I tried to make from him in July 2011 went sour --not my fault, I don't know what happened on his end. I'm guessing he had a work commitment far away from home which meant that he could not ship me the parts in a timely fashion. Robert, if you are reading this, I have long ago forgiven you, olly olly oxen free, as far as I'm concerned you are welcome to come back.

Gone but not forgotten: two W123 sedans and two W124 wagons.
W124 1987 300TD wagon, for sale, $1000 (some assembly required).

I like the solution in the link, it could be a option because i have a NA intake.
The gain will compensate the work on a stock turbo and IP?

I guess through my reading and not personal experience.....cooler air = denser air = more air. More air doesnt amount to much without increasing fuel supply. Maybe a little gain in alda adjustment. Hopefully someone will chime in with a better answer.

Sounds about right. It won't do much on stock parts.
