Hi Guys,

I've found a w124 with a factory 606NA in it that is blown. How hard would it be to fit a 606T in it?

1991 350SDL, burning oil and slow
1991 500SL, yet another project car
1984 190D, swapped 3.6 m104 with a megasquirt

Not hard... might have to switch swaybars or something. I wonder where the intercooler will go.

What doesnt bolt on you can make in a jiffy Smile
Custom intercoolers are cheap, and can be mounted in front of the radiator, with a touch of imagination..
Lots of ppl have done this swap, many have mounted the intake manifold and the IP from the N/A engine onto the DT, and rebuildt the IP with performance elements... Just remember to clog the oil vapor holes in the intake runners..
This way, you will bolt on the throttle, and wount have to fiddle with electronics from the 606.96x wich can be a PITA...
The oil pan, can be used from the N/A engine, so you dont have to fiddle with swaybars etc..

I can only imagine this as an easy and mostly bolt on swap...
Parts from the DT that doesnt fit the w124, you pull from the N/A engine..
Just as easy as fiddling with lego toy bricks Tongue

well, that car was sold. Oh well. Going to have to sell my W126 before embarking on another project....
