Or my Canon Powershot A620 digital camera, Duck Pond Edition. Dropped it in a friend's duck pond in October 2010. Instantly, just like that, it became a $500 paperweight. I stowed it on a shelf in my home-office and tried it once a month or so. After 15 months, last January, the crucial waterlogged chip finally dried out and it now takes pictures again.

Gone but not forgotten: two W123 sedans and two W124 wagons.
W124 1987 300TD wagon, for sale, $1000 (some assembly required).

My buddy was working on a car replacing the window regulator. He forgot his led pen light in the drivers door of a customers car at a shop I worked at. A month later the customer came back because the door handle broke and he found it still on very dim but still working in the bottom of the door!!!

Those preformed concrete edges are sweet! It looks like you would not need much of any former by using them. What are the approximate dimensions of these items,
and what are they called? Overall, i t looks like a very well built foundation Cool

It looks like there might also be floor tiles as well? Quite interesting!

The walls comes from a Swedish distributor http://www.jackon.se Page in Swedish but google translator and pictures tells alot about these products.

On the main building I have isolated the basement with these products. Basment is dry and smell free in the house. I did some new draining also and new pipes for the water from the roof.

Next time put it into a sealed container with a lot of dry rice in there. It will do wonders for extracting moisture. My dad fell off the dock into saltwater with his iTouch in his pocket. He left it in a sealed container with rice for about 2 weeks and I think maybe cleaned things afterwards or before with some rubbing alcohol. It worked after all that even though it made a death screage when it submerged in the water with him.

Looks excellent, keep up the good work and interesting photos. I am watching with keen interest, as I would like to build something like this as well.

I really like the overhang! What a great idea for having shade, and dealing less with the weather, rain, snow and such.

love it! I own a condo and whereas the condo is perfect for my situation (single, ideally located for commuting etc), I would have liked to have a proper garage like this one. I do have a space, but it's cramped....

1991 350SDL, burning oil and slow
1991 500SL, yet another project car
1984 190D, swapped 3.6 m104 with a megasquirt
