Something less primitive, more of a stainless steel German engineered solution? Is there something out there like that?

if it don’t blow black...take it back.

Less primitive? What works is what works. Is your real goal here just to spend money on something shiny that you won't see?

Buy your own mandrel bends, tubing, flex pipe and mufflers in stainless, then take it to a good muffler shop and let them cut and weld it up for you. Exhaust wrapping the pre-turbo piping will increase heat, and thus pressure, in the turbine, but is unnecessary after the turbo.

I’m really at it for the growl/sound. The car has a nice, quiet growl at most RPM’s . It really purrs at 135+. Soooo something shiny appeals to me! Just b/c I can’t see it doesn’t mean I don’t know its there.
Its really for my Mother who is requesting the growl! She wants it for her birthday.

I’ve seen a couple options, from companies like Renntech. There is a place called the Automotive Connoisseur Group that does performance stuff to high end European cars....I think I’ll set up a meeting with them.

You might want to look into what Brabus or possibly Carlsson has to offer.

Might be worth it to contact these guys to see if they can get the exhaust.
