Found a set of what I believe are 8 hole rims and winter tires off a 2000 C230 for a couple hundred dollars, I have seen similar rims put on members W123s so before they come home with me I wonder what it takes to make them fit.

Thanks for reading this, and I hope someone has some input on the subject.

Probably would need spacers. Check what the offsets are.

I think the offset on those 8 hole wheels is ET37.

You will need a least a 10mm spacer and longer lug bolts to make it work.

10mm is pretty thick, so I suggest using a hubcentric type of spacer to minimize vibrations.

The latter set is definitely better

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

Seems like the rims I really want keep slipping between my fingers - both sets were removed from ebay before the bidding ended. Not sure how I feel about them so will mull it over while away from home working.

Just not a big fan of the 14" stockers and maybe too anxious to be done with them! Will 17" fit even?

I'm gonna put some 16X6.5" (not sure of the offset) wheels on my car, as soon as I get enough money to get them sandblasted and powder coated, and buy new tires haha.

So still looking for a set of rims and tires to replace my Bundts, and came across a guy selling these Mandrus 17" off a 1999 CLK 320.

http://i914.photobucket.com/albums/ac347...rus172.jpg

Now from what I could see off the Mandrus website these are the Millenium rims with a 32mm offset, but the owner isnt 100% sure. I have asked him to take some pictures of the back of the rims in the hope that they will have some offset info stamped on them.

Heading up to take a look at them next week so any input on the company and or fitment is appreciated THANKS

ALSO why cant I get the HTML link from my Photobucket account to work?????Huh

you could buy my bastardized VW ATF rims that look like ronals, and spend money making an adapter.......Big Grin

pics located here with adapter info I found.

http://www.superturbodiesel.com/std/thread-3700.html

They are currently on Ebay for cheap. rims, mounted good tires, balanced....

and no one wants them.

Found another set of rims that tweaked my interest.

Carlsson 19inch with a 40 offset so I assume they will DEFINATELY need spacers?

Its still for a 1983 300d

WOW must yet another set found on the same day. Think these would fit alot easier.
