what manual gearbox does one use on a om606 with over 500bhp and 900nm torque?
bmw gearboxes seem strong but is there any mercedes boxes will take that abuse?

as i know you can use the gearboxes of E220 and E270 cdi.
you can get a tremec gearbox on ebay, this on is rated for 900Nm, but you will need an adapter

Why?

Because they'd break under 900nm.

hi,
can the transfer box be removed from the rear of the box and just fit a flange for the driveshaft?
