(01-31-2012, 11:37 AM)antonmies if the comp housing changes, the map changes. Where is the 178034 you said the map is from?

http://turbosupplycenter.com/en/borgwarn...1-a-r.html here you can buy it if you want it

As you stated, the map indeed changes, and not only slightl broadenign of the efficiency islands.. it has a important inpact on surge characteristics, and in this case it widens the map a healthy portion

I've sent a PM and emailed the website with no response so I thought I would post again for an update on the R444-2, if it is available yet or I there is a timeframe on it?
I need to replace my turbo ASAP and would really like to try this one?

Thanks

If we speaking Sequential turbo set up with master power I can not find something since the pressure rate of the turbos is to low and out of the compressor map (of the pressure ratio so compound like some say would be what I am looking for

about 0,8kg/s at 4,2 bar absolute pressure and the exhaust pressure must be lower then the boost pressure at least at full boost, something that can make the work of a Garrett GTX4202R on top and a Borg warner efr 6258/ 7163 on the bottom. 1 bars boost from 1500rpm is required because of it is going to be a daily driver

It would be interesting to se what jeemu can come up with, I am open minded

(12-19-2011, 02:36 PM)antonmies R4449-2, R474-3 or even R545-2 or 4 depending of wanted power output. But if the thing is the best low end and mid range, you should go with either 4449 or 474.

I am wondering if you had an opinion on the R384? I am looking for an upgrade to my OM617 Turbo daily driver. I am most interested in quick spooling take off power and do not care about more top end at all. I cannot find much info on the R384, and I realize it would require a t2 to t3 adapter. I am looking to get 150 hp with this upgraded turbo as well as an A/W intercooler and maxxing out my MW pump. Water/Meth is an option for me as well. Do you think these would be an option or it too small? Thanks

Oh crap... Sad

Now my possible turbo choice is sold out, and no alternative suppliers available. R545-7 might have been excellent charger, but guess a HX35 or garrett gt/gtx equivalent will work also.
