Anyone else get hit?

I lost power but I was able to hook up the modem/router and my fridge to my generator. I should have power for the next few days unit LIPA fixes everything.

I was afraid one of my trees was going to crash onto the merc.

the coast got whacked pretty hard, widespread flooding and chaos ect.

I drove down from RI to southern CT to check on a house, back from the coast, the tree damage was nuts, hundreds of trees down.

this is one of probably dozens of broken powerline/tree situations I drove under to get to grandma's house. Took me over an hour to go what would normally take 15 minutes, doubling back repeatedly because the road was blocked

Unfortunately, her house had two trees blown over onto it. Amazingly, it damaged the roof, but didn't break any windows (yet).

all this chaos is some 200 miles from where the hurricane set shore, amazing storm. Hopefully more NJ, DE, PA, and Long Island members chime in to let us know they are in good shape

That's one of the reasons I hate trees, especially near homes. I remember we had a couple eucalyptus trees fall on our house when I was a little kid, no bueno

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

Hi guys. I'm in central NJ just South East of Trenton. We got hit by a lot of wind, not much rain. Lost power at home for 12 1/2 hours. Power was out where I work until late last night 11/1. Many of the people I work with still have no power and a few were told they won't get into their area until next Tuesday to start working to restore power and clear the roads.

Lucky for me the house only lost a few shingles (fixed Tuesday afternoon) and one tree down, didn't hit anything. Many roads were blocked until today. Very difficult to get anywhere. Today almost seems normal. Just no refrigerated items at many stores just yet, well, maybe today.
