On a euro:
17X7.5 et40 should fit great on a W124 and it prices at 140 ea. You guys with horrible taste can also get them in chrome. What says STD?
I think they look cool!
But for a w123 the offset isn't correct from what I have read. People say if they are offset that much it will hit the tie rod ends.
But then again I'm not sure what car you have :p
ET40 ugghh. Low 30's mid 20's would look nicer when giving some lowering at the same time.
But then again those kinda wheels are not my cup of tea, and on w124? Don't know...the price ain't that bad if they weight less than 20" chromies.
Heres a slight idea, yet very incomparable picture how 18x9.5 ET25 sits on my w210 (w124 should be quite similar). Mind you it's still on stock tractor suspension and it's pretty much flush, so slight fender roll and it would tuck in nicely when getting 50-70mm drop.
Need to fix those damn rusts when doing OM606 swap...
That look, with the wheel lip protruding farther than the sidewall, is known in the U.S. as "poked". People seem to either love or hate it.
I've decided against the A.R wheels. They won't work with the plain, boxy, angular looks of my early W124, Plain Jane. I think the early cossie/R129 wheels are exactly what I need. The car will still look completely stock to the untrained eye, which is what I want. Unwanted attention should be avoided.
