How about a custom intake manifold?

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

03-12-2013, 01:10 PM #3Yeah that's the hard part to figure out. Non egr manifolds go for around $100, and w115 intakes for $200, so that's a rough starting point.
I might make one up if I get bored one day in a few years

Yup, that's the style I'm thinking of. Something that wraps up and out, and ends near the top of the valve cover-but not too tight, so you can still do valve adjustments. A fancy equal length long runner would be big bucks, and not really worth it-from what I've read a stock head can only flow ~220CFM

03-13-2013, 08:08 AM #8I've been looking into tubing for a plain W115 style + 6" of runner, it looks like around $120 for tubing, plus the flange and plenum. I'm seeing like $22 for 180° 2"ID bends-does anybody know a cheap place to get aluminum 180's ?
