C250 TD into W201
C250 TD into W201
First I would like to introduce myself. I'm Jim and I'm from the Netherlands. I like cars a lot, it's my hobby. At this moment i do a lot with the volkswagen golf (only diesel) second generation. But i also have a great love for the Mercedes, I like the w201 a lot.
A year ago I bought to cars, w201 2.5 diesel 1986 (om602) and a w202 TD 1996 ( om605). My wish is to do a motorswap, I did the search and saw that's possible to put the om605 into the w201.
BUT!!!
I want to do the motorswap and more, well the questtions?
- Do I have to change things by putting in the om605, like mountings and more....
- what about the suspension, rear diff, brakes all thing.. can I put this under the w201 without any problems?

maybe the old motor mounts, but i don't think you need those..

I think the only thing you need to swap is the IP, because I think it's electrical adjusted on the 605TD..
maybe the old motor mounts, but i don't think you need those..
